Morka Films, the production company of multi-award-winning British filmmaker Mark Playne, whose short film Love at First Sight won 76 international festival awards and is permanently archived by the British Film Institute, is partnering with Living Line Animation Studio to develop MoMo as a live-action/animation hybrid feature.

 

Living Line, led by CEO and Creative Director Akshay Sanjeev Chavan, a JJ School of Art graduate whose credits span Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, brings over a decade of visually ambitious, culturally rooted storytelling to the project.

 

Together, the two companies unite Eastern and Western creative vision behind one of the most compelling and timely stories in contemporary literature: a North African boy's journey from a crumbling kasbah to the shores of Spain, told through the language of myth, magic, and hard economic truth.
